Their Very First LIGHT
53Jasmine Nursing Her Pups
My newborn puppies from my shi-tzu dog Jasmine said "Hello World" on January 5, 2012. Two weeks after they were delivered, their eyes are still closed. Just say I'm ecstatic about their vision, alright? And so I checked on-line as to when the pups eyes will be opened.
Well, according to the article, pups usually opened their eyes between 11 to 14 days. Today is their 14th day and voila! When I checked them, three pups already have their eyes opened. They're still cloudy and would have their normal vision in 3 or 4 weeks. Their ears will open in 14 to 17 days.
They are now starting to stand straight although it's very noticeable that they are having difficulty. Their muscles are still weak and will probably be fine after a week or so. They are still incapable of hearing, seeing, but their sense of smell is already good. For the most part, they sleep a LOT and wouldn't like to be handled yet. Everytime i lift them, they scream and cry for MAMA.
It will be two more weeks and they will be a month old. I am sure at that time, they already acquire the adult sensory, motor and learning abilities. They are also going to start eating solid and liquid food. And oh, it will be a lot more trouble as pees and poos will cover most of the house.

- The Jasmine Chronicles
This blog talks about Jasmine when she was little - up until she gave birth to 5 lovely pups.
But that's alright. I just so love them, anyway. Check out Third. Notice that his eyes are still cloudy. Yeah, they are open but vision is still zero. Simply put - He's still blind. Let's just wait for two more weeks for him to see the real light of day, okay?
